The U.S. Flag has 13 stripes, 50 stars:
Blue stands for vigilance & justice
Red stands for courage & sacrifice of others
White stands for liberty & purity of ideals
Don’t let the flag touch the ground, or put anything on top of it. Fold it to transport it. When torn or dirty, burn or bury it.
The Virginia Flag depicts virtuous female, standing over a fallen King. Adopted in 1861, "Sic Semper Tyrannis“ means thus always to tyrants. Virginia's Colonial heritage is very proud of its contributions to the Revolutionary war (1776-1783).
Scout salute uses 2 fingers, symbolizes the the Scout Oath and Scout Law, and can be used by Scouts to great other Scouts
